Watkins & Lowman Land Surveying started out not to sound cliche, but "on a dream and a prayer." Jason and Dusty both respectfully attended and earned their Bachelor Degrees in Science specializing in Surveying and Mapping at Southern Polytechnic State University. Through the years each gained mountains of experience working with a variety of clients and situations and are here to help you!

Jason Watkins was born and raised in the Blue Ridge mountains and is still tied deep to his roots. He resides in Dahlonega with his 2 children, with friends & family always nearby. It's that sense of family mentality we aim to mirror within the company and communities we serve. He appreciates that land surveying is a unique profession that allows for a solid mixture of field and office time. In his spare time Jason enjoys fishing, hunting and shooting. Jason’s promise from Watkins & Lowman Land Surveying to the clients and our community is to “use the same discernment on each survey as if it was for our own property.” The philosophy he sets to turn into a standard is simple: treat everyone as you want to be treated.

Dusty Lowman’s family has been in the Dawson and Lumpkin areas since the 1820s. He now lives with his wife Crystal and 3 children on the same land, a family farm passed down through generations. Loyalty, traditions, and keeping those that matter most close for fellowship in the good times and those less than ideal are a cornerstone of how he approaches his daily life. As we stick with our families through thick and thin we promise to do the same for you, our client, and we handle each client’s situation on a personal level, like family. Dusty became a land surveyor because he loves exploring new places and being outside. He provides the promise from Watkins & Lowman Land Surveyors that premium customer service is our standard, less is unacceptable; with us you will be dealing directly with registered professionals, not intermediaries.
